Black Rhino Performance Sponsored Athlete Mia Chapman Gets 2nd Place in Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Regional Series Arizona Looking for "Top of the Box" at the Nationals

El Cajon, CA April 17, 2017 - - Rounds 2 & 3 of the Lucas Oil Regional Arizona Series went pretty well this past weekend for Mia Chapman. The X-15 Modified Kart was dialed in.

Saturday Chapman qualified 2nd (with a field inversion of 2) starting on the pole for the main event. The track was a little muddy on the start and in turn two the kart didn’t stick to the bottom and Chapman pushed high letting a kart by. She quickly adapted to the track conditions and stayed in second for the rest of the race finishing on the box!

Sunday qualifying didn’t go as planned. Chapman was forced to pull off the track only after getting in two laps due to a broken exhaust. "A huge thank you to my engine builder, Dynomite Performance ATV, who took my exhaust back to his shop, fixed it, and had it back on my kart in time for the main", Chapman said.

With only getting 2 laps in Chapman qualified 8th and knew she had her work cut out for her in a field of 16 tough competitors. By the finish of the race Chapman had made her way to 4th.

Chapman also competes in the Production Turbo UTV class where she drives the #937 Polaris Turbo UTV. She finished 5th both Saturday and Sunday. "It’s a very competitive class and I am the youngest driver! Thank you to all of my sponsors that make it possible for me to race" said Chapman.
